Macro-Spatial Economics
Second-year PhD · Spring 2026
A PhD field course on how geography and location shape macroeconomic outcomes — productivity, growth, employment, and housing — built around a quantitative spatial-equilibrium toolkit and its frontier applications, from urban welfare and local labour-market adjustment to dynamic spatial models and optimal spatial policy. Ten lectures with slides, code, and a referee-report assessment. A parallel version has been developed for the European University Institute (EUI).
